The 16 February Boston Sunday Globe ran an opinion piece by a prominent local attorney Michael J. Sullivan arguing that William Barr’s Justice Dept. is right to recommended a light sentence for Roger Stone
According to the blurb at the bottom of the piece, Sullivan is “…a former US attorney for Massachusetts, is a partner at the Ashcroft Law Firm.” What else might he be, though?
Google him and “Federalist Society” and what pops up? A speech delivered by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions thanking Sullivan for hosting him at the Boston chapter of the Federalist Society. https://www.justice.gov/opa/speech/attorney-general-sessions-delivers-remarks-boston-lawyers-chapter-federalist-society
